Last week my internship with Seattle Tilth ended. I took a last walk through the garden as its Steward.

Granddaddy Lavender is almost done blooming for the year.
Globe thistle is seeding.
The tomato plants and spud sacks have been taken down.
There are lots of pumpkins on the vine - here's the biggest.
There are still flowers providing for the pollinators.
There are now two huge, beautiful amaranth plants in the edible flower bed.
As I left, I noticed a baby lavender under the east arch that I had never noticed before.
My internship has been incredible. I have learned a lot and had a great time. Thanks, Seattle Tilth.
