Anyone know what this tree is? Along with the diamond pattern on the bark, it can be distinguished by leaves that are powdery white on one side, as if they had been sprayed with something.

I noticed these tree growing along the Rails-to-Trails in Sedro-Woolley. I also saw one in South Park one time.
